JACKSON, NJ – At around 4:30 pm, a white work van traveling westbound on East Veterans Highway crashed into a utility police, snapping it in two. The crash happened near the intersection of Cranberry Court and East Veterans Highway.

The vehicle came to rest on Cleveland Court several hundred feet west of the original crash site. The driver of the van appeared uninjured and the van had minor damage to its front driver’s side.
Power briefly went out after the crash.
East Veterans Highway was closed between Whitesville and Grawtown Roads as electrical wires were down in the roadway.
JCP&L arrived on scene and was working on repairing the lines and pole as of 9 pm Sunday night.
