NEWARK, NJ – Police in Newark are searching for Natasha Fullwood, 37, of Newark, who robbed and assaulted a victim on July 8.
According to the Newark Police Department, officers responded to a call about a robbery that occurred around 10:39 a.m. at the Tremont Food Plaza in the 100 block of Tremont Avenue. The female victim was inside the store when Fullwood punched the woman in the face and threw her to the ground where another female suspect took her purse.
“Fullwood, also charged with conspiracy, is described as 5’5” and 145 pounds with brown eyes and a light complexion. She was wearing camo pants, a pink tank top, and white Nike Dunks sneakers,” police said. “After the robbery and assault, Fullwood and the other suspect fled westbound on Tremont Avenue in a black Chevrolet Impala driven by a Black male who was wearing a white shirt, white pants with silver and white sneakers, and a black fanny pack.”
The second female suspect, described as 5’7’’ with a dark brown complexion, was wearing a pink dress, and a black shower cap, and was carrying a brown purse.
