15-Year-Old Struck by Random Bullets

COLUMBUS, OH- The Columbus Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place on Wednesday. Officers were dispatched to Nationwide Children’s Hospital where they contacted the 15-year-old victim.

The victim was shot one time in the back of the neck and arrived at the hospital in stable condition,” officers said. “He stated that he was walking to the store with his friend when he heard people fighting, heard gunshots, then was struck in the back of the neck.”

The victim is expected to recover from his injuries. This investigation is ongoing.
