Woman And Child Struck By Random Gunshots in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a double shooting which took place shortly after midnight yesterday. This incident happened on the 500 block of North Glover Street in Southeast Baltimore.

According to police, “At approximately 1:13 a.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to the 500 block of North Glover Street for a report of a shooting. Once there, officers located a 32-year-old female and a 10-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medics transported both victims to area hospitals where the 32-year-old female is listed in critical but stable condition. The 10-year-old male is listed as stable. Preliminary investigation revealed that unidentified suspects approached the 500 block of North Glover Street and began shooting, striking the 32-year-old female. The 10-year-old male was seated in the backseat of his parents vehicle when he was struck in the leg.”
