Robbery
Columbia, 21045: 8800 block of Centre Park Drive, May 15 11:48 a.m.
An adult male victim reported that a male suspect approached him at the ATM and demanded money. The suspect fled without stealing anything. Police responded, located the suspect nearby, and arrested him.
ARRESTED: Kwasi Addai Asafo-Adjei, 35, of Columbia, charged with robbery, attempted theft and assault
Commercial burglary
Columbia, 21044: Macy’s, 10300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway, May 13 2:36 a.m.
Police responded for a business alarm and discovered a male suspect inside the store without permission. Police arrested the suspect outside of the store.
ARRESTED: Daniel Grant, 39, of Curtis Bay, charged with burglary and trespassing
Columbia, 21044: Banter by Piercing Pagoda, 10300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway, May 15 10:51 a.m.
Unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a drawer at the kiosk and stole jewelry.
Residential burglary
Columbia, 21044: 7000 block of Ivoryhand Place, May 15 12:16 p.m.
Unknown suspect(s) entered the residence through a possibly broken garage door and stole various items.
