ENGLEWOOD, NJ – Pop superstar Alicia Keys has sold her New Jersey home after unsuccessfully trying to move it for the past seven years. The 25,000 square foot mansion she bought from actor and comedian Eddie Murphy for $10.4 million in 2013 was just sold for $6 million.
After purchasing the home, Keys renovated the mansion, originally built in 1980, set on 3.91 acres with six bedrooms and 15 bathrooms in Englewood in Bergen County.
The home includes elevators, an indoor pool, a home theater, a bowling alley, and a recording studio.
Keys has been trying to sell the home for years, originally listing it for $14.9 million in 205. In 2016, the home was removed from the market and relisted last August for $9.9 million.
Taxes on the home are $257,876 annually.
