CUMBERLAND COUNTY, MD – The Cumberland Police Department has issued the following arrest bulletins for April 13-14.
Arrest Warrants Served
The Cumberland Police served an Arrest Warrant on Ruby Caroline McCullough, age 32 of Cumberland, MD. The Warrant was issued by Frederick County for Fail to Appear. She was found to be in possession of CDS paraphernalia when she was arrested. She was issued a Criminal Citation for the paraphernalia and taken to Central Booking on the Warrant. She was released on her own recognizance following her initial appearance with the District Court Commissioner.

Fail to Appear
The Cumberland Police served an Arrest Warrant on Jennifer Lynn Brooks, age 41, of Cumberland, MD. The Warrant charged Brooks with Fail to Appear for a court date for a driving on a suspended license charge. She was taken before the District Court Commissioner for her initial appearance and was released on her own recognizance.

Probation Violation
The Cumberland Police served an Arrest Warrant on William Ray Martz, age 63, of Cumberland MD. The Warrant charged Martz with Violation of Probation. Martz was taken to Central Booking for his initial appearance before the District Court Commissioner and was held on without bond.

The Cumberland Police served two Arrest Warrants on Kimberly An Vollmerhausen, age 51, of Cumberland, MD. An Allegany County District Court Warrant charged Vollmerhausen with Motor Vehicle Unlawful Taking and Fraud. The second Warrant was issued in Frederick County and charged her with Fail to Appear. She was taken to Central Booking for her initial appearance before the District Court Commissioner and was released on her own recognizance.

Drug Arrest
On April 14, 2022, officers of the Cumberland Police Department observed a possible drug transaction take place and a vehicle pull away from the scene. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and the officers contacted the operator. While speaking with him, the officers observed him to be in possession of capsules containing suspected heroin and fentanyl. The male was identified as John Tyler Brennan, age 30, of Cumberland, MD. He was placed under arrest. Other officers then located the suspected dealer, identified as Akhary Tiere William, age 21, of Cumberland MD. He was also placed under arrest.
Brennan was charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of Fentanyl. He was issued Criminal Citations for both charges and later released.
Williams was charged with Distribution of Fentanyl, Distribution of Heroin, Distribution of Heroin/Fentanyl Mixture, Possession of Fentanyl with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Heroin with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Heroin, and Possession of Fentanyl. Williams was taken to Central Booking and was held without bond following his initial appearance with the District Court Commissioner.
