NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department today shared images of a man wanted for a gruesome attack against a homeless man in Queens. The slasher, covered in the blood of a male victim, 26-years-old, took a knife from an unattended food cart and slashed the homeless man in the face.
The suspect was caught on surveillance video moments after the attack, covered in blood. The victim was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was recovering. He underwent surgery and required 20 stitches on his facial wound.
Police said the two men were arguing at around 9:40 pm on March 18th near Broadway and 73rd Street in Queens. The suspect fled the scene.
