Shot-Spotter Alerts Baltimore Police to Shooting of 26 Year-Old man

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – On January 18, 2022, at approximately 10:59 a.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 2300 block of Druid Hill Avenue in the rear alley to investigate a shot-spotter alert.

Once at the location, officers located a 38-year-old male victim suffering an apparent gunshot wound to the chest. Medic transported the victim to an area hospital listed in stable condition.

A second 26-year-old male victim was located in the 2300 block of McCulloh Street suffering an apparent gunshot wound to the right thigh. Medic transported the victim to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Western District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.
