Palm Beach Sheriff's Office Needs Help Identifying Man found dead in Everglades in 2018

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA – The PBSD needs help in identifying a person who was dumped in the swampy lands of the Glades in 2018. He was found with multiple tattoos on his arms with names “Jakie” and “Joanna.”

The PBSD needs help to identify this John Doe to make his killers come to justice. An employee of a sugar company found the body in January 2018. No ID was found on the body. The medical examiner’s office determined the age between 19-28 years old. The body had a long sleeve white shirt with a hoodie. The word California was printed on the right sleeve. There was a camouflage shirt under the hoodie and he was wearing a white beaded necklace with a white metal cross pendant.

The cause of death was determined as a homicide, with 3 gunshot wounds in his chest. The victim was most likely dumped in the glades where the perpetrators hoped the gators would erase any evidence of the brutal murder.
