Toms River, NJ – Home Runs for Heroes swings back into action for its 13th Season on May 4, 2021. This unique partnership between OceanFirst Foundation, the Jersey Shore BlueClaws and Townsquare Media provides financial support to charities that meet the emergency basic needs of Veterans and members of the United States Military during difficult times. Each charity partner is assigned an inning and every Home Run hit by the BlueClaws in the charity’s assigned inning – at home games – scores a $1,000 donation from OceanFirst Foundation.
“We thank the Jersey Shore BlueClaws organization and Townsquare Media for their continued partnership that brings much needed relief to local military families and Veterans. In the last 12 seasons of the program, we have provided more than $376,000 in grants for HRH participants.” said Katherine Durante, Executive Director of OceanFirst Foundation.
