LITTLE ROCK, AK – In January, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, one of the most beloved Presidential press secretaries and daughter of former Governor Mike Huckabee raised an astounding $1,000,000 in just four days campaigning to be the next governor of the state of Arkansas.
Her father, Mike Huckabee held that job from 1996 until 2007 and there was no doubt many times that a younger Sarah was dragged along the campaign trail to help her dad during his 11 years in office as one of the most popular governors of the state.
Sanders-Huckabee said she began working the campaign trail for dad when she was just nine years old.
“I started working on my dad @GovMikeHuckabee’s first of many campaigns when I was 9. Sorry dad, but now it’s payback time! Look forward to having you on the trail,” she told her father.
Now, it’s her time to drag dad around the state, but dad presented a very promising counter offer.
“Payback is a pleasure! I’ll keep grandkids while you campaign! Deal?” He asked.
