DALLAS, TX – On Saturday, January 23, 2021, at approximately 1:38 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at the Canyon Creek Apartments located at 10951 Stone Canyon Road. Upon arrival, officers found the victim Tommy Elijah Gouge, a 20-year old White male, in the apartment with a single gunshot wound to the face. Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced him deceased at the scene. Officers took custody of the suspect Timothy Kaylon Valdez, an 18-year old Latin male, and he was transported to the Homicide Unit and then jail. His bond will be set by a Dallas County magistrate.
