Today's statement from President Trump about the Joe Biden Inauguration

WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Donald J. Trump today issued a statement from the White House in an attempt to quell the frustration and anger of the 79,000,000 Americans who voted for him in a contentious November election.

“In light of reports of more demonstrations, I urge that there must be NO violence, NO lawbreaking and NO vandalism of any kind. That is not what I stand for, and it is not what America stands for. I call on ALL Americans to help ease tensions and calm tempers. Thank You,” the President said.

The message comes as the President is facing impeachment, being blamed for inciting an incursion of the U.S. Capitol building last Wednesday.

It is one of the first public messages sent to the public by the President, however, the President now has no platforms to get that message to his followers. The President has been banned from Twitter and Facebook and Parler, another social media site that supported the President has been shut down in light of Wednesday’s insurgency.
