Portland shooting victim in critical condition in hospital

PORTLAND, OR – On Saturday, at approximately 2:55 a.m., East Precinct officers responded to Harrison Park located in the 8400 block of Southeast Harrison Street on reports of a shooting. Officers arrived to the location and located evidence of gunfire in the 8500 block of Southeast Lincoln Street. Officers spoke to individuals who had witnessed the incident and stated a victim had been shot. A short time later, an individual with a gunshot wound walked into an area hospital. The victim stated they had been shot while they were near Harrison Park. The victim sustained life threatening injuries and remains in the care of the hospital at this time.
