Newark, NJ — Authorities are still searching for 17-year-old Aaliyah Bryant, a Newark teen reported missing in late August 2023, as public safety officials renew their call for community assistance.
Aaliyah was last seen on August 29 in the 100 block of Chancellor Avenue. At the time, she was wearing a long white T-shirt, black leggings, and carrying a cross-body bag. She is described as 5’3” tall, weighing approximately 300 pounds, with a light-brown complexion, blonde hair, and a silver nose piercing.

Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda Sr. confirmed that Aaliyah is a frequent runaway and has been diagnosed with Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
