Big win for Hillsboro scratch-off player

The winning ticket was sold at the Walmart located at 540 Harry Sauner Road in Hillsboro. The player, who has not been publicly identified, chose the Money Maker scratch-off, a $30 ticket offering substantial prize opportunities.

Following mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent, the winner will receive around $36,000 in take-home pay.
