ELIZABETH TOWNSHIP, PA — A 3-year-old child was killed Sunday morning after being struck by a riding lawnmower in the 3000 block of Skillet Hill Road, according to the Allegheny County Police Department.

Authorities said the incident was reported to County 9-1-1 at 11:07 a.m. Sunday. Responding officers and emergency personnel found the child had sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene.
