Eastern District patrol officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1700 block of Aisquith Street at approximately 2:39 a.m. on Sunday. When they arrived, they found a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds to the body.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and is currently listed in stable condition, according to police.

Detectives leading ongoing investigation

Eastern District Shooting detectives were called to the scene and have assumed control of the investigation. No suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made.
