MAGNOLIA, DE – A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a 27-year-old Magnolia man on felony drug charges after he was caught discarding illegal substances from his vehicle, Delaware State Police announced Thursday.
At approximately 1:45 a.m. on April 3, a state trooper observed a Nissan Rogue fail to stop at a stop sign at Walnut Shade Road and Peachtree Run. The vehicle was pulled over on Terry Drive, where the driver, later identified as Troy McNally, was seen tossing items from the vehicle.
Troopers recovered approximately 2.25 grams of heroin, 6.9 grams of crack cocaine, and 10 pills identified as acetaminophen and oxycodone hydrochloride.
McNally was arrested without incident and transported to Troop 3. He was charged with multiple felony drug offenses and arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 7. He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $35,000 cash bond.
