MAUMEE, OH – A life-changing lottery ticket sold at a Maumee market has delivered a top prize of $1,000 a year for life to one lucky Ohio player in the April 3 Lucky for Life drawing.
The winning ticket was purchased at Walt Churchill’s Market, located at 3320 Briarfield Road. The player matched all five white balls—2, 5, 11, 14, and 28—missing only the Lucky Ball, which was 18.
By matching five out of five white numbers, the ticket holder secured the game’s second-tier top prize. The winner selected their own numbers and has not yet been publicly identified.
This marks Ohio’s first Lucky for Life top-prize winner in 2025 and the first since November 18, 2024. The odds of winning the $1,000-a-year-for-life prize are 1 in 30.8 million.
Walt Churchill’s Market will receive a $57,500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Lucky for Life is a multi-state draw game with nightly drawings, offering two lifetime prize tiers.
