TRENTON, NJ — A single Powerball ticket sold in California hit the $526.5 million jackpot on Saturday night, while two lucky New Jersey players each claimed $50,000 prizes in the same drawing.

The jackpot-winning ticket matched all five white balls and the Powerball on March 29. The winner in California will have the option of taking a cash payout of $243.8 million. With the top prize claimed, the jackpot resets to $20 million ahead of tonight’s drawing.

In New Jersey, one player matched four white balls plus the Powerball to win $50,000. That ticket was purchased at ShopRite #518, located at 141 Route 130 South in Cinnaminson, Burlington County.

A second New Jersey player also won $50,000 through the Double Play option — an extra drawing available to players who opt in for an additional fee. That winning ticket was purchased at Time Telecards, 54 Ferry Street, in Newark.

Saturday’s winning Powerball numbers were 07, 11, 21, 53, and 61. The Powerball was 02, and the Power Play multiplier was 03. The Double Play numbers were 07, 11, 14, 26, and 59, with a Double Play Ball of 10.

In response to the jackpot win, the New Jersey Lottery launched its “The Jackpot Was Hit” promotion. Through Saturday, April 5, players who purchase three Powerball plays on a single ticket will receive one free $2 Powerball play on a separate ticket.
