Washington, D.C. – The U.S. Department of Justice, in collaboration with law enforcement agencies from various countries, has overseen the extradition of numerous fugitives to the United States. These individuals are accused of crimes ranging from murder and drug trafficking to cybercrime and immigration fraud.
Assessing the extradition list, Eswin Mejia from Honduras is charged with vehicular homicide in Nebraska; Rigoberto Ramon Miranda-Orozco, described as an alien smuggler from Guatemala, faces charges in Texas; Moises Humberto Rivera Luna, an alleged MS-13 leader, was extradited from Guatemala to Washington, D.C. to face racketeering conspiracy charges.
Carlos Espino Farfan from Spain faces child rape charges in Utah, while two former Colombian Navy personnel, Jair Alberto Alvarez Valenzuela and Luis Carlos Diaz Martinez, have been charged in Florida with criminal activities linked to drug trafficking. Louie Hernandez and Juan Ramirez, both extradited from Mexico, are charged with murder in Washington and California, respectively.
Solomon Sincler Gheorghe from France faces charges in North Carolina related to a car accident resulting in fatalities. Rostislav Panev is from Israel.
