MANHATTAN, NY — The NYPD is seeking the public’s help identifying two men who allegedly spray-painted a swastika on a Tesla Cybertruck in the Lower East Side earlier this month in what authorities are investigating as a hate crime.

The incident occurred on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at approximately 10:06 p.m. outside 11 Rivington Street, within the confines of the 5th Precinct. According to police, two unidentified individuals used red spray paint to draw a swastika on a vehicle belonging to a 37-year-old man.
Following the act of vandalism, the suspects fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported.
The NYPD Hate Crime Task Force is leading the investigation due to the nature of the symbol used in the vandalism.
Both suspects are described as males with light complexions, approximately 30 to 40 years old. Surveillance images of the individuals have been released and are available through NYPD’s DCPI.
No arrests have been made as the investigation remains ongoing.
