MONROE TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Police in Monroe Township recovered a stolen box truck containing approximately $100,000 worth of high-end automotive tires following a warehouse burglary investigation earlier this month, officials announced Thursday.

On March 13, detectives from the Monroe Township Criminal Investigations Bureau responded to reports of multiple burglarized trailers at a local warehouse. Investigators learned that the stolen merchandise—luxury tires—had been loaded into a box truck that was itself reported stolen from another nearby warehouse.
Later that evening, detectives located the stolen truck with assistance from the truck’s owner and the Fairview Police Department. The vehicle was recovered with the full inventory of stolen tires still inside.
The investigation into the burglary and theft is ongoing, and detectives are working to identify those responsible.
