Armed robbery suspect arrested after D.C. bus stop attack

WASHINGTON, D.C. A Maryland man has been arrested following an armed robbery in Northwest early Sunday morning after officers spotted the suspects’ vehicle fleeing the scene.

At approximately 12:28 a.m. on March 16, Third District officers on patrol were flagged down by a victim near Vermont Avenue and U Street NW. Multiple suspects had approached the victim at a bus stop, brandished firearms, and stolen items from the victim’s pockets before escaping in a vehicle.

During the investigation, officers observed the suspect vehicle nearby and conducted a traffic stop. A handgun was recovered, and an arrest was made.

Nathaniel Mysion, 23, of Severn, MD, was charged with armed robbery and carrying a pistol without a license. The case remains under investigation, and police encourage anyone with information to contact them.
