Group of teens robbed at gunpoint near Howell Library

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA – Authorities are searching for three suspects involved in an armed robbery that occurred over the weekend on Plantation Drive, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the area near Howell Library on March 9 at approximately 12:40 p.m. after two juvenile victims reported being robbed. The victims told investigators they were initially approached by three individuals who seemed friendly but then turned aggressive.

One suspect brandished a firearm and demanded their belongings, which the victims surrendered before fleeing and notifying an adult. The armed suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately six feet tall, with short black curly hair in a mullet style and piercings in both ears.

Detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit are investigating and urge anyone with information to contact Detective J.T. Lynch at 540-658-4450.

Authorities continue to search for the suspects as the investigation remains active.
