WASHINGTON, D.C. – A man was arrested Sunday in connection with a fatal shooting that took place inside a Southeast D.C. residence last year.
On September 11, at approximately 10:06 a.m., officers responded to the 3700 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast, for a reported shooting. They found 20-year-old Korey Glasker inside a home suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Nearly six months later, on March 9, police arrested 36-year-old Korin Agnew during a traffic stop in the Sixth District. Agnew was taken into custody on a D.C. Superior Court warrant and charged with First Degree Murder while Armed.
Authorities have not released further details regarding a possible motive or connection between the suspect and the victim.
