This Jersey Shore Town is Making St. Patrick's Day a Two Weekend Event

WILDWOOD, N.J. — The Wildwoods will be filled with Irish pride next month as the seaside town hosts two weekends of St. Patrick’s Day festivities on March 8 and 15. Visitors can enjoy free events, lower room rates, and a lively celebration of Irish heritage.

The festivities kick off on Saturday, March 8, with the Shamrock Shuttle, a free transportation service running from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. between participating restaurants and bars in Wildwood and North Wildwood. Guests can take advantage of holiday specials at spots including Anglesea Pub, Keenan’s Irish Pub, The Inlet on Olde, and MudHen Brewing Co. Official event merchandise will also be available at That Shore Store.

On Saturday, March 15, the St. Patrick’s Day Celebration & Parade begins with a 10 a.m. Catholic Mass at St. Ann’s Church of Notre Dame De La Mer Parish, followed by a noon ceremony at North Wildwood City Hall. The annual parade will then march north on Atlantic Avenue to Olde NJ Avenue, featuring the VFW Color Guard, Irish pipe bands, local school bands, and organizations such as the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Anglesea Irish Society.
