New Jersey man held without bail on child endangerment, sex assault charges in Toms River

TOMS RIVER, N.J. — A New Jersey man is being held without bail in Ocean County on multiple child endangerment and sex-related charges, according to jail records.

Michael Angelo Marto, 34, was booked into the Ocean County jail on Thursday and is facing charges including second-degree sexual assault, lewdness observed by children under 13, and multiple counts of endangering the welfare of a child, records show.

Marto was also charged with attempting to lure or entice a minor into a motor vehicle, a second-degree offense.
