MIDDLETOWN, PA — A $5,000,000 Lion’s Share Scratch-Off ticket worth $5 million was sold at Dave’s Super Duper in Honesdale, the Pennsylvania Lottery announced Monday.
The ticket, purchased at the store located at 200 Willow Avenue, is part of a $50 game offering top prizes of $5 million. Dave’s Super Duper will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Winners have one year from the game’s end-sale date to claim their prize, as posted on the Pennsylvania Lottery’s website. The Lottery advises players to sign the back of their tickets immediately and contact them at 1-800-692-7481 for instructions on how to claim.
The Pennsylvania Lottery does not know where winning tickets are sold until prizes are claimed, as Scratch-Offs are distributed at random.
All prizes exceeding $5,000 are subject to applicable taxes. For game rules and more information about traditional and online Lottery games, visit palottery.com.
