BALTIMORE, MD — A woman suffered a gunshot wound to her leg on Friday afternoon, prompting a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
At approximately 1:14 p.m., Northern District officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2400 block of Keyworth Avenue. Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle transporting the victim to a nearby hospital. The officers followed the vehicle to the medical facility, where they saw the woman being treated for her injury.
A preliminary investigation determined the victim was shot while in the 3600 block of Park Heights Avenue before being driven to the Keyworth Avenue location. Detectives from the Northern District are continuing to investigate the shooting and are seeking information from the public.
