TOMS RIVER-Downtown Toms River just got a little bit hip and we’re not talking about another place for lawyers in suits to enjoy a latte, we’re talking about The Clubhouse of Toms River. Located at 53 Main Street in the Downtown Shops, the Clubhouse features live musical performances and merchandise sales.
“The Clubhouse of Toms River Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that seeks to create a space for artists and musicians to produce, perform, and sell their work. The Clubhouse intends to bolster New Jersey’s creators and encourage community engagement with locally created goods and artwork,” owners described the business on their Facebook Page. “The Clubhouse of Toms River intends to achieve our goal by reinforcing conversations between artists, designers, musicians and the community by providing a permanent marketplace and performance venue for those communities to engage with original work. To put it simply, put everyone under one roof and encourage unplanned collaborations.”
Over the next few weeks, the Clubhouse will be forming partnerships with artists, designers, musicians, bands, and craftspeople to feature in our store. Alongside this, we will be scheduling and announcing shows featuring some of the best original bands in Ocean County and New Jersey.

This week, Toms River Councilman Terrance Turnbach showed up at the Clubhouse to welcome the organization to the downtown business and entertainment community.
“We’re really excited to take this next step in to creating something awesome for Downtown Toms River and we hope to see you in the store or at a show soon,” owners said.
