NEW YORK, N.Y. — A 37-year-old man was robbed while riding a southbound “7” train late Friday night near the Vernon Boulevard-Jackson Avenue subway station, according to police reports.

The incident occurred on January 10, 2025, at approximately 11:35 p.m., when four unidentified individuals sat down next to the victim. Authorities said the group shoved the man and forcibly took $25 and a cellphone before fleeing the train in an unknown direction.
