MANASSAS, Va. — A 25-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a collision with an SUV on Centreville Road near Breeden Avenue on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The crash occurred at approximately 3:41 p.m., when the driver of a 2019 Jeep Cherokee, traveling southbound, attempted a left turn across the northbound lanes of Centreville Road. The Jeep collided with a 2024 Suzuki motorcycle, causing the rider to separate from the vehicle.
The motorcyclist, identified as Nicholas Blaze Damon of Fairfax, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Jeep Cherokee, a 44-year-old woman from Woodbridge, sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Members of the Prince William County Police Department’s Crash Investigation Unit responded to the incident and are seeking witnesses to assist with the ongoing investigation.
