Suspect in Deadly Bronx Stabbing Arrested

BRONX, N.Y. — A 32-year-old man was fatally stabbed early Thursday morning inside a residence at 1541 Selwyn Avenue, police said.

Officers from the NYPD’s 44th Precinct responded to a 911 call at approximately 1:35 a.m. and discovered the victim with a stab wound to the neck.

Emergency Medical Services transported the man to BronxCare Health System Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police confirmed that one person of interest is in custody, though charges are still pending as the investigation continues.

The victim’s identity is being withheld until family members are notified.

The attack marks the latest in a string of violent incidents in the area, as detectives work to determine the motive behind the killing.
