Police investigate fatal collision in Aquasco that claimed life of 35-year-old woman

AQUASCO, MD — The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred Friday night on Aquasco Road, leaving one woman dead.

Officers were called to the 23900 block of Aquasco Road on January 3, 2025, at approximately 8:00 p.m., following reports of a serious collision. Donna Fowble, 35, of Aquasco, was identified as the driver of one of the vehicles. She was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead a few hours later.

Police said the preliminary investigation indicates that Fowble was traveling northbound on Aquasco Road when her vehicle collided with a second vehicle traveling southbound. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

The driver of the second vehicle sustained injuries that are not considered life-threatening, authorities said.

The Prince George’s County Police Department is continuing to gather evidence to determine what led to the fatal collision.
