BALTIMORE, MD. — A New Year’s Day investigation into gunfire on Seminole Avenue resulted in the arrest of two men and the seizure of loaded firearms and ammunition, police said.

Officers from the Southwest District Action Team responded to the 1200 block of Seminole Avenue at approximately 12:05 a.m. on January 1 after reports of shots fired. Their investigation led to the arrests of a 45-year-old man and a 46-year-old man.

Both suspects, who are prohibited from possessing firearms due to prior convictions, were taken into custody and transported to the Central Booking Intake facility. They now face multiple gun-related charges.

Several loaded firearms and ammunition were recovered from the scene, according to investigators.
