WASHINGTON, D.C. — A carjacking suspect is being sought after a woman was robbed at gunpoint and her vehicle stolen in the 1700 block of 4th Street, Northwest, police said.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, when the victim was entering her car. The suspect approached, brandished a handgun, and demanded the victim’s car keys. The victim complied, and the suspect fled the scene in the stolen vehicle.
Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect, and police are urging anyone who can identify the individual or provide information about the incident to come forward.
