BRONX, NY — A 36-year-old man was assaulted and robbed early Saturday morning in a violent attack near 1406 Ogden Avenue, according to police.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:15 a.m. when two unidentified individuals got into a dispute with the victim. Authorities said the suspects struck the man in the head with a bottle and punched him in the face multiple times with closed fists.

The attackers forcibly took several of the victim’s belongings, including his designer fanny pack, jewelry, watch, glasses, driver’s license, and approximately $1,700 in cash, before fleeing the scene in a white vehicle.

Emergency medical services transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was treated and reported to be in stable condition.
Police are continuing to investigate and have not yet identified the suspects or the vehicle involved.
