Police arrest 28-year-old man in connection with Baltimore shooting

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 28-year-old Baltimore man has been arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder in connection with an October shooting in the city’s Central District, authorities said.

The incident occurred on October 26, 2024, at approximately 1:10 p.m., when a 25-year-old male victim walked into an area hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Investigators determined that the shooting took place in the 200 block of North Eutaw Street, where police located the crime scene.

Following weeks of investigation, police identified Malik Joseph as the suspect in the shooting. On December 12, 2024, Joseph was taken into custody and transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility.

He now faces charges of attempted first-degree murder as the case continues to develop.
