TRENTON, N.J. — The Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market is set to kick off its annual “Wreck the Halls” event Friday at the Cure Insurance Arena, promising three days of punk rock-inspired holiday festivities that blend DIY culture with a one-of-a-kind shopping experience.
Running from December 13-15, the event will feature more than 400 vendors offering an eclectic range of items, from vintage clothing and handmade jewelry to vinyl records, comics, and taxidermy. Attendees can also expect food trucks, live DJs, sideshow performances, and on-site tattooing, making the flea market a hub for creativity and community.
Recognized as one of “the best flea markets in America” by the Huffington Post, the Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market aims to showcase independent artisans and celebrate punk rock culture. Founder Joseph Kuzemka said the event’s mission is to blend music, art, and community spirit in a way that feels authentic to Trenton’s creative scene.
One of the highlights of this year’s event is a meet-and-greet with members of the heavy metal band GWAR, drawing fans from across the region. Gourmet food trucks will also be on-site, providing a variety of dining options for attendees of all ages.
The event, which has become a tradition for punk rock fans and holiday shoppers alike, is open to the public with tickets available at the door or online. Admission is free for children 12 and under.
