HANOVER, Md. — Four juveniles were arrested Thursday evening after allegedly assaulting two other teens and stealing their belongings near a McDonald’s at Arundel Mills Circle, police said.
Officers responded to the robbery at 7053 Arundel Mills Circle at approximately 6:30 p.m. after two juvenile victims reported being approached by a group of four juveniles who assaulted them before fleeing with their belongings.
Through a coordinated response, officers tracked the suspects to a public transit vehicle. With assistance from Northern District units, the vehicle was stopped, and the four suspects were detained and positively identified by the victims.
The suspects, identified as a 15-year-old female, a 13-year-old female, a 16-year-old male, and a 14-year-old male, were taken into custody and charged in connection with the robbery.
Police commended the swift collaboration between responding officers, which led to the apprehension of the suspects shortly after the incident.
