WESTFIELD, N.J. — The Westfield Police Department has announced the return of its popular Santa Convoy, scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 21, as part of a collaborative holiday event with the Westfield Fire Department, Volunteer Rescue Squad, and Department of Public Works.
The convoy will visit neighborhoods across the town, spreading holiday cheer with sirens and Santa sightings. The event will cover the south side of town from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the north side from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., with detailed routes available online for residents to plan their curbside greetings.
Residents are encouraged to listen for the convoy and gather curbside to receive a candy cane from Santa’s helpers. While the event is designed to bring joy to as many homes as possible, organizers note that the convoy cannot stop for photos at every residence or travel down dead-end streets.
Participants are invited to tag the Westfield Police Department in photos on Facebook and Instagram or use the hashtag #SantaConvoy to share their snapshots. Live tracking of the convoy will also be available on the department’s Facebook page during the event.
For questions or additional information, residents can email santaconvoy@wpdnj.org.
Westfield’s Santa Convoy promises to bring holiday magic to the streets once again.
