Bucks County player turns $1 Power Play into a $250K Powerball win.

MIDDLETOWN, PA — A lucky Pennsylvania Lottery player is celebrating a $250,000 win after purchasing a Powerball® with Power Play® ticket in Bucks County for the November 27 drawing.

The winning ticket, sold at GIANT Food Stores on East Logan Street in New Hope, matched four of the five white balls (1-6-7-13-40) and the red Powerball (5). The Power Play® multiplier of five boosted the prize from $50,000 to $250,000.

The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket. Pennsylvania Lottery officials urge winners to sign the back of their tickets and file claims as soon as possible, noting that prizes must be claimed within one year of the drawing date.

In addition to this significant win, more than 28,900 other Powerball tickets in Pennsylvania secured prizes, including over 5,800 with Power Play® and more than 3,600 with Double Play®.

The Powerball jackpot continues to grow, climbing to an estimated $224 million for tonight’s drawing.
