Philadelphia Police Seek Gang of Juveniles Wanted for Unprovoked Attacks

PHILADELPHIA — Authorities are searching for a group of juveniles suspected of committing three unprovoked assaults in Philadelphia’s 9th District on the afternoon of November 19.

The Central Detective Division released surveillance footage and still images showing the individuals involved in the attacks, which occurred at separate locations in Center City within a span of 50 minutes.

The first incident was reported at 3:20 p.m. near 17th and Chestnut Streets, where a 24-year-old woman was shoved to the ground and punched in the back of the head three times. She was later diagnosed with a concussion at Einstein Norristown Hospital.

At 3:45 p.m., a 31-year-old man was assaulted on the 200 block of North 19th Street. The group repeatedly punched him in the head and face, leaving him with facial irritation, bleeding, and mouth injuries.

The final attack occurred at 4:10 p.m. on Pennsylvania Avenue, where a 41-year-old woman was punched in the head and had her hair pulled before the suspects fled on foot.

Investigators are urging anyone with information about the suspects to come forward. Video evidence from the scenes is being reviewed as police work to identify the individuals involved.
