Gunfire erupts in Baltimore leaving 62-year-old man injured

BALTIMORE, MD — A 62-year-old man was shot and injured Sunday night in Baltimore’s Central District, prompting an investigation by detectives.

The shooting occurred at approximately 8:55 p.m. in the 400 block of West Saratoga Street, where officers responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Medics transported the man to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.
