WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are searching for two suspects and their vehicles following a daylight shootout that erupted on a Southeast street last month, an incident that was captured on surveillance video.
The altercation occurred around 5:10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, in the 2500 block of Marion Barry Avenue SE, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. A verbal dispute between the two individuals quickly escalated, with both suspects reportedly brandishing firearms and exchanging gunfire. No injuries were reported, and both suspects fled the scene immediately after the confrontation.
Investigators have released surveillance footage that shows both suspects and their vehicles, hoping the public can assist in identifying them. The video, which police are urging residents to review, can be accessed at https://youtu.be/yjRB3vKq_-k.

One suspect is associated with a dark-colored Chevrolet bearing a Maryland license plate of 4EH6136, while the second suspect was seen driving a red Nissan Altima with a D.C. tag of GU6960. Police have also published still images of both vehicles from the footage.
