WASHINGTON, D.C. — Surveillance footage captured a suspect in a burglary in Southeast D.C. during a theft that occurred in the early hours of Saturday.
Around midnight, in the 3700 block of Ely Place, Southeast, the suspect broke into private property, cutting locks on several trailers and stealing a large assortment of tools and supplies.
The suspect and his vehicle were caught on camera, and the footage is available for viewing: YouTube video.
Anyone with information about the suspect or vehicle is encouraged to contact the Metropolitan Police Department at (202) 727-9099 or text tips to 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is available for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
