Washington, DC – A dramatic night in Northeast DC ended with the arrest of four suspects involved in a shooting during an attempted carjacking.
On Monday, October 14, at approximately 11:16 p.m., the suspects approached a victim in the 1200 block of H Street, Northeast, and attempted to steal their vehicle. During the confrontation, one of the suspects fired a handgun, striking the victim. The suspects fled the scene, while the victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Thanks to swift action from investigators at the Real Time Crime Center and the MPD helicopter, Falcon One, the suspects’ vehicle was tracked into the Fifth District. Officers responded to the area and arrested all four suspects without incident.
The suspects have been identified as 18-year-old Andrew Williams from Hyattsville, MD, an unnamed 16-year-old male from Southwest DC, 18-year-old Anardo Little, and another unnamed 16-year-old male from Northwest DC. They face multiple charges, including Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Armed Carjacking, Carrying a Pistol Without a License, Possession of an Unregistered Firearm, Possession of Unregistered Ammunition, Possession of a High Capacity Feeding Device, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, and Unlawful Entry.
